Done for the bygone Splice contest.

A mutated cross between a pangolin and a squid, colossal squid to be precise (by way of the hooked tentacles). This was the craziest combo I could think of without dipping into insects and deep sea fish.

It would be amphibious, hunting small fish underwater but sleeping on land in burrows which it digs with its massive claws. When danger approaches it curls up in an armoured ball and jets away, similar to a nautilus.

I like this one too... Some of the "don't look" stuff does stand out quite a bit.
