Painting of a critter from an old sketch. I have a thing for creatures with huge beefy necks and sloped faces it seems (via bull terriers). The Grey Beast serves as a sort of folk creature, fulfilling the purposes of a unicorn and black dog. All Grey Beasts have heterochromia, the right eye is always blue, and the left is always red. According to legend, whichever eye is seen first predicts a different fate. The blue eye predicts a peaceful and natural death for the viewer, the red eye a tragic and fast approaching demise. As usual, only virgin maidens can safely approach this creature without succumbing to the creatures predictions.

You are an amazing artist. Your work inspires me to keep drawing. I'm likings the non-mess digital art provides. I have an iPad, what drawing apps would you recommend?

Hey, thank you for the compliments. I've never used anything for painting other than Photoshop, which I don't think can run efficiently on an ipad. But I've heard Sketchbook Pro is a decent painting application.

lovelovelove. I have a real soft spot for goats and sheep, and this guy (ESPECIALLY with his beefy neck and sloped face) is super gorgeous. Also his paws are just perfect.

It is so... ancestral...

The head is amazing...

I really loved it if it had no horns...

Just my personal taste...
then with no horns it would remind a primeval bear-dog.

It is very fascinating now but for me without horns would be... Super!

Ah well, horns it has. The Grey Beast is based partly on a bull terrier, but also on cats and goats.

It is the part of "bull terrier" I prefer...
The cat part can stay...
but the goat part... due to the economic situation, I have to fire it (Lol)
