I have no idea. Was inspired by cute animals and the DARPA Big Dog bots. Maybe he's some demon of decay, incarnation of Autumn, or smoldering spirit, take your pick.

Also, Dan Luvisi's paintings helped in reminding me how fun painting teeth and slobber can be.

Not kidding that people went crazy about DARPA's stuff, even other countries tend to try to make some, just like robotic competition.

Did you know that BigDog's movement is resemble to real blind dog? :)

That's a weird creature- maybe I should get one as a guard dog? :) Those legs sure look weird, but the Big Dog robot seems to prove this dude can run. I made the mistake of watching that DARPA Big Dog robot running video while thinking of this guy- look, now you are trying to give everyone nightmares!! So, if this guy runs at me with the intent to do harm, I only have a second or so to draw my trusty laser pistol and fire, I take it?
