For a while now Pinterest has become my mainstay for collecting and quickly and remotely accessing reference, tutorials and art related info. I've since built up a large collection of stuff covering a broad range of subjects so I thought I'd share it to those who might get some use out of it. To those who haven't tried out Pinterest I'd highly suggest it, plenty of other artists besides myself are using it now for finding and stashing juicy photography and art.

If you already have a Pinterest full of neat stuff feel free to share it below.

Ps: Will you do a tutorial in drawing dragons? Its so hard to draw them TT___TT

Hey, thanks for the compliments.

A tutorial would be hard to do on dragons as they can be approached from a variety of design angles and be based on many different animals. However if you want to approach them in a semi-realistic manner like everything it boils down to knowing your anatomy, and the functional purposes behind why real animals look the way they do. For European (six-limbed/flying) dragons I look at a lot of bird, bat and pterosaur anatomy to start off with a basic body shape and wings conducive to flying. For flavour and details I then tend to look at a variety of predatory and scaled animals, reptiles, big cats, fish, pangolins, raptors, etc.
Creating fictional creatures all boils back down to learning animal anatomy and behavior.

Oh, you are right. Thank you, and yes,, at the end is just understanding the anatomy and to where one wants to go. I shall get further into understanding anatomy and how to apply it to creating beautiful and majestic creatures.

Thank you again!! *3*
